Fifth of November

Remember, remember the Fifth of November,
The Gunpowder Treason and Plot,
I can think of no reason
Why the Gunpowder Treason
Should ever be forgot.

My knees aren’t too happy with me, but I went to another ceilidh tonight. There were only 50 or so of us this time as opposed to a couple hundred, which meant that we all ended up dancing all of the dances! It was much fun, and I somewhat remembered a couple of them, though I can’t remember their names now. I brought my camera, but since I was on my feet the entire time, failed to get a picture. I gathered another handful of names which I may or may not remember: Sam, Murgie, Sarah, Catherine? Emma, Jim, Elaine, and David were there. Jim astonished everyone once again by remembering my name. I became Indy’s side-kick, the little Chinese boy from the second Indiana Jones movie, except none of us could remember his name, and, funnily enough, the beforesaid Indy was not present. Fun times.

It being Guy Fawkes’ Night, I walked over to Castle Sands just to have a peek at the festivities. I did manage to get a bit of video:

Felic and I were going to watch V for Vendetta tonight, but it’s late, and we’re busy, so perhaps tomorrow or Friday.
